Andrea’s Story: From Nurse to Functional Health Practitioner

Andrea spent over 25 years in the traditional healthcare system. But her turning point came when her own health began to decline:

Despite seeing multiple doctors, she kept hearing the same thing:

“Everything looks fine.”

But she didn’t feel fine.

That disconnect led her to explore a more holistic, root-cause approach—and ultimately build her practice to help other women avoid spending years searching for answers.

 

The Problem with “Normal” Labs

Normal does not always mean optimal.

In conventional medicine:

  • Focus is often on diagnosing disease

When conventional medicine is essential:

  • Emergencies

  • Acute conditions

  • Diagnostics and imaging

  • Necessary medications

When functional health is essential:

  • Chronic symptoms

  • Hormonal imbalances

  • Fatigue, gut issues, thyroid struggles

  • Root-cause healing

The goal isn’t to replace one—it’s to bridge the gap.
