Core Studio Workouts Q + A

Can I sign up for Core Studio Workouts if I am pregnant or newly postpartum?

Core Studio is designed for those who are not pregnant or newly postpartum.

If you are pregnant, join my Knocked-Up Fitness® membership. It is designed specifically for the pregnant woman and is full of tutorials, workouts, nutrition information, recipes, meal plans, my Push Prep Method designed to help ease your labor + delivery process and SO much more!

If you are newly postpartum, I highly recommend going through my Core Rehab program before joining Core Studio. Core Rehab focuses on healing your body one phase at a time and helps you build a strong foundation so you can complete your Core Studio workouts without worrying about back pain, neck pain, diastasis recti, incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction and more!

What are the weekly training tips?

The foundational training tips are a weekly 2-minute video designed to help improve your form and connect with your body by incorporating a combination of awareness, visualization and mindfulness into your daily routine.

Each week I give you one item to focus on. As you move throughout your day as well as through your workouts that week, I want you to begin incorporating the tips + tricks I give you in the 2-minute training video. Don’t under-estimate the power of these training tips! They can be a complete game-changer because the smallest changes can create the biggest results!

Is there a guide to help me get started?

Yes! I have put together a 2-week foundational series that I highly recommend everyone follow during their first two weeks in the membership. After your initial two weeks, you have two options:

  1. You can follow the monthly workout schedule that outlines what training tip to focus on that week as well as which workouts to do each day.
  2. You can use the intentions worksheet and build your own workout adventure!
Do I need any equipment? 

Some of the workout videos will include a few pieces of equipment or require NO equipment. If you don't already have these items, below are links to ones I recommend:

  2. Light 3lb. Dumbbells
  3. Foam Roller
  4. Kettlebell
Do you have an app?

YES! Your membership includes access to the Core Studio app! Which gives you the ability to download workouts direct to your app on your phone, so no need to worry if you don't have good internet access.

Hey there, I'm Erica Ziel!

Over the past 15+ years, I have made it my mission to constantly challenge the status quo and revolutionize the way we think of “fitness”. My methods + techniques are a fusion of fitness, Pilates and wellness that are safe + effective for individuals of ALL ages, body types and fitness levels!
