The Key To Stretching Effectively

core connections fascia movement Jun 09, 2020

Do you ever wonder when the day will come that you no longer have to experience low back pain?

Now you all know I'm a proud core exercise specialist who is the master in decreasing aches + pains and I’m ALLLLLL about incorporating movement to heal the body. *Hands high if you agree!*

Because my movement practice is focused on lengthening and strengthening, I’m excited to jump into this conversation about stretching in an effective way to support how your body functions.

Let me share my side of this controversial topic and get right into it.

*Hold on to your earphones!*

Ladies, things are about to get good and start to click for you so you’re gonna to want to listen up.

It might not be on your mind yet because you're just getting into a movement practice that you can show up consistently for, but the more your movement becomes a habit the more you are going to start to be aware of what's going on in your body.

I want to help you be grateful for where your body is at NOW so that you can set yourself up for success as you work to strengthen and connect with your fascia. Because ladies, the connections will come...you just have to be patient and work through a smaller range of motion while trusting that your body will become STRONGER.

In this episode, you’re going to hear all about:

  • Gratitude
  • Holistic Stretching
  • Fascia
  • Static Stretching
  • Creating Space
  • Dynamic Stretching
  • Inflammation

Close your eyes, take a deep breath and repeat after me: I am open to learning something new about my body and SOOOOO grateful for all that it has gone through because it has gotten me to this episode of Erica Ziel's podcast that I'm about to listen to.
