What Is Wellness?

I was recently nominated for an award and a question that stood out to me was, "How do you personally live a healthy lifestyle?"

Um, where do I start?!

Wellness is the state of living a healthy lifestyle, right? So I had to reflect a question back to myself...what does wellness mean to me?

It's clear that wellness is this huge umbrella term that we constantly find ourselves maneuvering under and trying to define.

But the truth is there's no one size fits all answer and that's why you need to tune into this podcast episode >>HERE<<.

Yes, I give you the dictionary definition of wellness and I explain to you what wellness means to me, but at the end of the day, the true interpretation of wellness is what it means to you.

For me, wellness is my life.

It's my passion and my purpose personally and professionally because I'm either:

  • Teaching it.
  • Training it.
  • Coaching it.
  • Writing it.
  • Mommying it.
  • Recording it.
  • Researching it.
  • YOU NAME IT!

No matter what state of "it" I'm finding myself in, I'm embodying what wellness means to me for where I'm at in my life right now.

Can this definition change? Absolutely and as it should! It could change tomorrow if it wanted to because we're always learning, always improving and always growing.
