I've been in the fitness industry for a while now and if there's one thing I've learned is to keep going and trust the process.

I believe that the universe is always sending us a message and it's up to us to be aware of it in the pursuit of our dreams.

After 5 years of applying to speak at IDEA World, the biggest fitness conference in the world, I finally got the email I'd been waiting for.

As soon as I saw that email show up in my inbox, I started jumping up and down like I just won the Fast Money round on Family Feud.

My son looked at me like I was the most embarrassing parent of the year, ha!

The energy in the room completely shifted that Friday in September and I was overwhelmed with this sense of knowing that this is my time to take everything that I've have learned and worked for to impact (and hopefully shift) this industry.

I tell you this story not to gloat but to inspire. Inspire you to keep going because your dreams, your goals, your passions, are all worth it.

Because you can choose to give up because it's too hard... you're not getting there fast enough... or it's just not meant to be for you.
