Do you remember the first purchase that you made on your own?
I know I don't because I can't even remember what I had for lunch yesterday.
But Bri Fireside's first purchase stands out in her mind because that's where her bad money habits started.
Her first credit card purchase was for $100 worth of CD’s.
Yes, she's taking it way back!
These spending patterns followed her into college where swipping her credit card became routine and ultimately into early adulthood where daily Starbucks runs attributed to Bri racking up $30,000 in debt at the age of 23.
That’s no Bueno for whatever age you are.
Now, at this point, I bet you're a little confused as to why we're talking money on space that's all about health and wellness...but Bri is here to tell you that money has everything to do with health + wellness.
Stress is a topic that comes up on the podcast CONSTANTLY. So imagine the amount of stress that being $30,000 in debt has on a person’s health.
This is why I knew I had to invite Bri on to the podcast because we all deal with enough stress in our lives and I don’t want money to be one for you!
Bri + I's conversation revolves around everything that the Core Connections podcast stands for:
Ladies, health is not a simple subject understand...and neither is money! But it's important to understand how the two are so interconnected.
