DECIDE to Thrive: The Choice You Need to Make for Your HealthOct 07, 2021
I've been a deep core exercise specialist for a while now, and if there's one thing I've learned it's that everything in life and health is a choice.
Of course, things happen that are outside of your control beautiful – but you have a choice in those moments for your future self.
Yes, emotions and diagnoses are real and should be acknowledged – but I believe you have a choice about the role they play in your decisions and your thoughts.
>>Friend, I’ve had moments where I’ve felt stressed and anxious and moments where I felt like what I was doing wasn't going to get me to my goals.<<
But when I let that go and let myself be as aware and present as I could, I found that I had no more excuses.
I didn't know back then, but I was choosing to make excuses. I was choosing to come up with reasons why I'm stuck. I was choosing to believe that I was the only person who had difficulties with my particular struggles.
>>It all was a CHOICE.<<
And here’s the thing – our choices affect our health. They affect the way we feel physically, emotionally, and energetically.
You can choose to feel hopeless... You can choose to live with dysfunction... You can choose to resist your body's cry for help.
- You can choose to be present.
- You can choose to become aware.
- You can choose to believe in your body's ability to heal.
- You can choose to think positively.
>> The biggest choice though, is to decide to thrive.<<
So here we go, we are on this journey of choosing to thrive in life together; choosing to trust our intuition, choosing to feel better in our bodies, and choosing to embrace whatever comes our way with gratitude.
