Fitness Tips: How To Properly Do A Tricep Kickback

movement Aug 03, 2021

Tricep kickbacks are an exercise that I've seen done incorrectly for years. Through no fault of their own!

Tricep kickbacks involve awareness, control, and lengthening of your body.

One of the biggest mistakes I see with tricep kickbacks is that women have their elbows go above their sides during the exercise.

There is a simple way to correct this. Here’s how:

  1. Use a light weight
  2. Lengthen tall through the top of your head
  3. Hinge forward to activate the back of your legs
  4. Lightly activate between the shoulder blades
  5. Bend the elbows and extend straight back to open your chest

There you have it!
