The Easiest Way To Start Healing Back Pain

movement Sep 13, 2021

Do you ever find yourself saying, "Why am I always dealing with low back pain?"

*Friend, I have been there, done that.*

Then I got tired of doing the same thing and getting the same results.

It used to be hard for me, but now I have developed my own unique training techniques that not only get rid of back pain, but can prevent it from coming back, and I want to share it with you.

Understanding these mistakes will give you the body awareness that you need to correct bad habits. All three of these components are connected and have an impact on the functionality of your body. Let's break them down so you can learn simple ways to start healing your back pain.

Workout Cues

There are a lot of improper cues that are still being taught in the fitness industry. As someone who used to use them, I quickly changed my ways because this old-school way of teaching was doing more harm than good to women's bodies.

>>Your movement practice should leave you feeling good and not reaching for the heating pad.<<

Here are a few improper cues that I still hear being taught:

  • Suck your belly to your spine
  • Tuck your booty
  • Grip your glutes
  • Press your back into the mat

After you have understood the harm that those cues can cause, you'll want to learn how they are affecting your posture.

>>Everything in the body is connected and it starts by having the support of your pelvic floor.<<

Too often I see the low back doing most of the work when it should be used for stability so you can lengthen up from your pelvic floor and out of your low back.

Creating new habits involves holding your body in a different way. The more you can move with ease, the less you have to worry about back pain holding you back.

Rebalance the Body

Finally, rebalancing your body is the most important part of decreasing back pain.

Because if you haven't addressed the imbalances going on, they will only get worse as time goes.

Through rebalancing your body, you are becoming more aware of how you hold your body and how it moves.

This is especially important if you have ever had babies because of the shifts that happen during pregnancy.

It doesn't matter how long it has been since you've had kids, it is never too late to start enhancing the way your body feels.

See, didn’t I tell you healing your back pain can be easy?

Ask yourself why you want to get rid of your back pain or prevent it from coming because that will help guide you to live a life you love pain-free.

 >>Bringing awareness to your body isn't meant to add more to your to-do list, it's about moving better and connecting with your body in a new way.<<
