CITRUS SLAW

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • ½ red, yellow, or orange sweet bell pepper, diced
  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup of fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 large orange, peeled and sectioned
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 fresh squeezed lime

Optional Items:

  • Add ½ to 1 diced avocado 
  • Add 2 to 4 Tbsp mayo to make the slaw creamy 

Preparation:

  1. Combine all ingredients into a large bowl and refrigerate
  2. If adding avocado, add right before serving
